Here And Now Judgments

John 3:36: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Unbelievers do not have to wait for the wrath of God until they are in the place of torments or the Lake of Fire. Even though it may not be obvious, God*s wrath always abides on them. The only thing that prevents the hammer of His judgment from falling at any moment is His mercy. He extends every opportunity to lost sinners to repent and turn to Him.

2 Peter 3:9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Ezra 9:13: And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this;

Romans 1:26: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Romans 1:28: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

WONDERFUL NEWS: Many of these judgments can be temporary. If one will simply receive Christ he will avoid many of the here and now judgments and ALL of God*s eternal judgments.

Romans 8:1: There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
